All entrants will be invited to an evening at the Miele Gallery for a presentation on the Miele Design Philosophy before the final judging.

This award was presented to Philip Patrick, The Design Yard, Dungannon, working within an Irish kitchen studio, who displayed a promising and exciting future in kitchen design. Philip demonstrated his abilities in designing kitchens, taking budgets into consideration, overcoming any problems in the blueprint of the project as well as delivering the client’s outline, all to a high standard. He also showed excellent potential and talent in this field by submitting a previous project and was able to demonstrate a drive and determination for the future of kitchen design.
